The Strait Shooters Tour Central Otago!

The Strait Shooters return to Central Otago for New Years Eve and January 2017! They're touring their new album 'That's All We Have Time For' - featuring 6 original songs and 4 contemporary covers that showcase the bands unique style. More of a roots band in the style of Tedeschi Trucks and Little Feat, The Strait Shooters certainly know how to lay down some great blues, but they also apply their southern soul feel and funky vibe across a variety of material that keeps audiences well entertained.

The band formed in 2013, following a 'merger' of 'Strange Brew' from Wellington, and 'The Federation' from Queenstown. The name of the band was born from the fact that the 5 members of the band live in New Plymouth, Wellington and now Dunedin - meaning they have to keep shooting back and forth across Cook Strait to various gigs and tours.
